Apple has released an update to it’s media player QuickTime. Beyond providing bug fixes and updates to the H.264 codec that powers Apple sourced movies including those distributed by iTunes Music Store, QuickTime can now display movies in full screen mode. Full screen presentation of movies has previously been a paid feature via QuickTime Pro.

Apple recommends that all users of QuickTime install this update.
